Manager brings over 20 years of healthcare experience to new role
ZEPHYRHILLS, FL., NOV 19, 2012. Florida Hospital Zephyrhills has hired Lisa Bell, Registered Nurse, as the new Manager of Surgical Services. Mrs. Bell brings over 20 years of experience to this new role. In this position, she will be responsible for the day-to-day management in the areas of pre-admission testing, pre-op, operating room, PACU, post-op, and sterile processing. She will maintain patient flow, conduct rounding, and will ensure that education and credentialing is completed for all caregivers in the surgical area.
Mrs. Bell was most recently employed with Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL, where she held the position of Staff RN. Prior to this, she held similar positions at several surgical centers, medical centers, and ambulatory care centers in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi. She holds a BS in Nursing from University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL, and is certified in both ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and CPR.
