General Overview of Services
Florida Hospital Zephyrhills offers physical, occupational and speech therapy services both on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Audiology services are offered on an outpatient basis. Physical, occupational and speech therapists develop, coordinate and utilize selected knowledge and skill in planning, organizing and directing programs for the care of individuals whose ability to function is impaired or threatened by injury or disease.
The Florida Hospital Zephyrhills therapy department is spacious and fully equipped with a variety of equipment. Rehabilitation services are provided by Florida licensed therapists and assistants whose credentials include graduation from an accredited program at a university or college, licensure by the state of Florida, and extensive continuing education in the latest trends and treatments in rehabilitation. Our large, highly skilled staff has a variety of certifications including certifications in lymphedema, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, wound care and pediatric neurodevelopmental therapy. The therapy staff is dedicated to providing the highest quality rehabilitation therapy to our patients. Our professional team is committed to making a difference in the lives of our patients by helping them achieve their maximum functioning level.
Our rehabilitation programs are specifically designed to meet your individual needs. Our team consists of approximately 27 professionals in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Audiology who are dedicated to helping our patients reach their highest functional level and maintain independence.
