Become a Faith Community Nurse

East Pasco County is witnessing congregations of all faiths being blessed by having a Faith Community Nurse working within their religious organization.

The Faith Community Nurse works in partnership with the Health Ministry team and congregation to develop and support ministries of health and healing. They facilitate individual and group educational opportunities, wellness events, grief counseling, client care and advocacy, and many other programs.

Qualifications Needed:
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
• Personal Liability Insurance (Some churches are willing to help cover this cost.)
• Certified with a Faith Community Nurse Preparation Course
