THE SERVICES
The Outpatient Behavioral Health Services provides a wide range of services to individuals 18 years or older with behavioral health disorders or co-occurring addictive disorders.
SERVICES INCLUDE
- Comprehensive Assessment
- Individualized treatment planning,
- Physician Services
- Psychotherapy
- Skills Training
- Family Education
- Linkage with community and social support systems.
- Individual and family therapy is provided as directed by clinical indication.
This program is based on the belief that psychiatric disorders, including addictions, result in disturbances in thought, behavior, and affective processes which impair a patient's ability to carry out basic life roles and disrupt their family, social and educational relationships.
A patient’s participation in the Outpatient Behavioral Health Program is based on his or her individual needs as determined by a treatment team of experienced, professional staff including a physician medical director.
Transportation
Transportation to and from Behavioral Health is available if needed.
Financial Arrangements
Behavioral Health Services are usually covered by insurance companies, including Medicare.
Referrals and Assessments
Referrals may be made by physicians, nurses, family members, clergy, probate court, nursing and assisted living facilities, social workers or others concerned about the welfare of a given individual. Individuals may also inquire about the program on their own behalf. All patients are assessed by a psychiatrist and licensed therapist as part of the admissions process.
Confidential Assessments
The clinical staff of the Outpatient Behavioral Health program is pleased to offer free confidential assessments for the purpose of determining need for behavioral health services.
Assessments are performed by qualified behavioral health professionals. The physician medical director, will determine need for treatment and provide appropriate referrals for treatment when indicated. Should treatment in the Behavioral Health Outpatient Program not be a desirable option, every effort will be made to match the individual with the most appropriate treatment alternative available.

Recognizing the signs and symptoms of mental illness are the steps toward effective treatment and recovery.
WHO SHOULD SEEK HELP?
The Outpatient Behavioral Health Program is dedicated to assisting adults and seniors who are having behavioral health issues that require treatment, but do not require inpatient behavioral health care.
