History

Florida Hospital Zephyrhills is the only hospital in Zephyrhills, FL.  It was established by Adventist Health System, of Winter Park, FL, in 1985.

Adventist Health System purchased the Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1981, in Dade City, FL and in 1982 broke ground in Zephyrhills, FL to build the brand new facility.  It was named East Pasco Medical Center.  EPMC was a full service, 70-bed hospital.

In January 2006, East Pasco Medical Center changed its name to Florida Hospital Zephyrhills.  The name change helped to better distinguish the hospital within the Adventist Health System family.

Florida Hospital Zephyrhills is now a 154-bed acute care facility offering services such as open heart surgery, obstetrics, wound care, cardiac rehabilitation, therapies, the latest imaging services and much more.
