WELLNESS - A WAY OF LIFE
Patients of all ages benefit from Florida Hospital Zephyrhills’ emphasis on wellness through a variety of preventive medicine and educational healthcare programs. Low- and high-level intensity exercise classes, health screenings, physician lectures and a wide variety of support groups supplement lifestyle classes, such as weight and stress management. Quality health services are important to the thriving central Florida communities served by Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. For more information about our Wellness Center call (813) 783-6123.
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
Florida Hospital Zephyrhills is truly a community-based hospital. We host several events that involve our community. Some of the annual events are the Christmas Tree Lighting and the Easter Sunrise Service which take place on the front lawn of the Hospital. Daily community programs include support groups and fitness activities in our Wellness Center and health screenings.
Florida Hospital Zephyrhills believes in investing and being good citizens in the many communities we serve. This is why we participate in events held throughout the county, such as the Pasco County Fair, United Way, and American Cancer Societies’ Relay for Life, American Heart Walk, Heart Ball and many other programs throughout our service area. A Speakers Bureau featuring our employees and physicians provides speakers to local clubs and organizations.
Our hospital has a very active Foundation Board comprised of local community leaders. The Foundation annually sponsors several special events to benefit the hospital. Your support of our Foundation plays a very important role in the building of a healthy future for the hospital and for our community.
