Florida Hospital Zephyrhills’ commitment to its community is evident as soon as you arrive on the 28-acre campus. Staff and local residents can be seen daily using a specially designed fitness trail with eight exercise stations on the hospital's spacious front lawn.
Inside, the commitment continues. Established in 1985, Florida Hospital Zephyrhills, formerly East Pasco Medical Center, has experienced more than 35 additions or renovations, growing to a present day 154 bed, 407,000 square feet, full-service healthcare facility.

One popular program for individuals 55 & older is Premier Health, which provides Medicare forms assistance, screenings and lectures, insurance counseling, discounts from Florida Hospital Zephyrhills and local merchants, inpatient amenities and a quarterly newsletter, all free of charge.
COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
Florida Hospital Zephyrhills is truly a community-based hospital. We host several events that involve our community. Some of the annual events are the Christmas Tree Lighting and the Easter Sunrise Service which take place on the front lawn of the Hospital. Daily community programs include support groups and fitness activities in our Wellness Center and health screenings.Florida Hospital Zephyrhills believes in investing and being good citizens in the many communities we serve. This is why we participate in events held throughout the county, such as the Pasco County Fair, United Way, and American Cancer Societies’ Relay for Life, American Heart Walk, Heart Ball and many other programs throughout our service area. A Speakers Bureau featuring our employees and physicians provides speakers to local clubs and organizations. These also serve as hospital-sponsored events.
Our hospital has a very active Foundation Board comprised of local community leaders. The foundation annually sponsors several special events to benefit the hospital. Your support of our Foundation plays a very important role in the building of a healthy future for the hospital and for our community.
